zZzzZzzz...

Sorry I don't have any new exciting updates. But I've been suuuuper busy. I started painting my apartment but I haven't had a lot of free time to actually get it done. My week consists of work and school. When I'm not at work or at school I'm trying to get my apartment done and make some time to head to the Homeroom office.

This week is super busy too. I have training in Walnut Creek 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs and I have to come back everyday after training so that I could make it to class. Luckily I'm done with at least one of the classes. Friday I might have to go to jury duty which will SUCK. If not I'll be at the Homeroom office. That night I'll be out with the ladies and then Saturday will be painting and working on a couple other projects. Then it's back to work on Sunday. Boo.

I almost fell asleep in class during my final tonight...

Falling Apart

I've been sick ever since Ian's birthday last week. After Motif last Thursday I started having lower back pain. Then after Ian's BBQ on Saturday I got sick! A week later I finally went to the doctors.

This is the cure:

Sudafed for my congestion
Robitussin DM for my cough
3 Advils 3 times a day for my back. Along with...
Back exercises
A new mattress

Geezus.

X-Files: I Want to Believe

I was never really into The X-Files, but a friend of mine absolutely loves the show and so I ended up watching the first movie at his house one night. I get entertained easily so I actually liked it. Even though I never watched the shows, the next movie is coming out on July 25th and I think I actually want to watch it. Just gotta find someone to watch it with me!

Miss USA Falls

I thought it was funny that Mel B. from The Spice Girls and Jerry Springer were the ones hosting the Miss Universe 2008 pageant. But apparently that wasn't the highlight. During the ball gown competition with the top 10 contestants, Miss USA either tripped on the train of her dress or tripped on the stairs. Maybe it was a little of both?

Poor girl!

July 11th part 2

I headed down to 3rd Ave in San Mateo to meet up some of the boys. There was a girl standing outside this optometrist passing out free samples of frozen yogurt. Not only did it look really nice inside, but they also sold frozen yogurt! I was reading a review on Yelp.com and I guess they give free fro-yo to customers that come in for appointments so they can eat it while they wait. I should start going there for my check ups. Haha

Later that day I headed downtown with the parents to have dinner with some family visiting from Canada.

I love the city.

My uncle made a reservation at R&G Lounge on Kearny in Chinatown. I've always drive by this place and it always seems like they have a line out the door. I found out that it's a pretty high end Chinese restaurant. My uncle ordered a ten course meal that was well over $400.

The crab was SO good. I usually don't order crab but if it's front of me of course I'll eat it. I believe this restaurant is an equivalent to Thanh Long which is another restaurant on Judah St., known for the crab and garlic noodles.

Me and little cousin Ella eating our buns.

I was looking at the buildings outside and i saw this building with these statues on it. Shit looks scary as hell...why would you ever want that on a building?!

We walked around Chinatown for a bit and my parents brought me to a bakery where my mom just HAD to get a coffee crunch cake. My dad informed me that he used to live in the apartment on top of the bakery when him and my grandparents first moved here. It's interesting finding out where your parents used to live and imagine how it was for them growing up. Did I mention it was my parents wedding anniversary? Happy anniversary to them!

The next day I headed over to my brother's old apartment...which is also my neeeeew apartment! Kind of small but I think it'll be a good size for me.

Just gotta find out how I'm going to fit all my clothes in this tiny closet!!

July 11th part 1

We started the weekend off celebrating Ian's birthday Thursday night at Motif in San Jose. Just a few pictures from that night.

Brotherly love.

I go way back with every single one of these girls.

The next day was Ian's real birthday and some of the folks headed out to Vessel that night. I decided to chill out and actually stay home on a Friday night. The next day I headed to Ian's house in Foster city where everyone was chillin.

Goose allll day...

Mug, mug, mug!

We haven't seen this chick in a minute!

Once the oysters were out...everyone was on a mission!

This is how it pretty much looked like after 5 or 6 hours of drinking.

Cheers to Ian!

I know some of you guys want the pictures and to see all of them. Just message me and I'll let you know how to get em'!

Fire. Pride Weekend. Giants vs. Dodgers.

Wow I haven't posted in awhile. Summer school started so I've been busy working in the day time and having night class 4 nights a week! Sucks. But keep encouraging me to go to class! It's only for the rest of the month. Haha

Anyways, these California fires have been going on for awhile. A couple weeks ago, San Bruno mountain was on fire. It started in Brisbane and worked it's way up the mountain and started burning on the other side. This was the view from my house.

It was still burning at night.

These California wildfires are still going on and the air SUCKS. Try your best to put out cigarettes, no ILLEGAL fireworks!, and just watch out in dry areas. The firemen are probably tired!!!

A few days later, during pride weekend, I headed to Dolores park with Augs to meet my cousin. Crowd was crazy.

I went to the Giants vs. Dodgers game Saturday with a few of my coworkers.

This is what happens when you hang out with people that have Blackberry's...all three of them!

I love our ballpark.

We win bitches!

Yea...too bad we lost the next day...
